With the advent of COVID-19, more distanced sailing activities were initiated. Two of these involved sailing in a virtual manner (Radio Controlled Sailing and Virtual Sailing) and have continued as an alternative to getting directly on the water.

Radio Controlled Sailing
This takes place on Saturday mornings, between 11:00 and 13:00.
This takes place in a designated small designated area of the reservoir. Members can even ‘sail’ from the comfort of their cars if the weather is not conducing to standing on the bank!
These are informal races, with a fleet of Df95’s.
Virtual Sailing
Tuesday nights it a time for sitting with your computer and sailing anywhere in the world.
Race boats such as 49er’s, Nacra 17s, AC50’s and more.
From 19:00 why not join in and pit your sailing skills against like minded sailors from around the globe?
